| Comments: | I am deeply saddened to here of the passing of Ed berkhimer. As I was a new director of the Claysburg Ambulance Service Ed and I sat and spoke many times as he helped guide me in the correct direction in the best interest of the Claysburg and Blue Knob Communities. I have seen few people in my time in the fire and EMS service that gave so much time and energy to an organization that Ed did. If the hall needed cleaned on a Friday night for a Saturday dinner Ed was there. If the coal furnace needed stoked in the early morning Ed was there. The Berkhimer family has given there heart and soul to the Blue Knob community for many years and I am sure Ed will be greatly missed by all in the tight nit community. God Bless to all. |

I was an active member of Martinsburg and held several official positions. I was Treasurer when our building was built. I am currently on the disabled due to a motor scooter accident on 4-21-08. I am on the mend, healing a lot of "roadrash and a broken fibula. Have a scanner and listen often. The best to your company. |
